The impact of your giving

Through their generosity, members of the Heroes Giving Society have a profound and positive impact on kids and families across Wisconsin. An annual gift to the program that is most meaningful to you helps:

• Eradicate disease and innovate health care spanning a child’s life — from preventing disease pre-birth, to improving outcomes while battling disease and helping kids thrive well into the future.
• Provide programs and services that help kids and their families cope with illness, injury and trauma while in our care or at home, and connect families to vital community resources that empower and build self-sufficiency.
• Create solutions for mental and behavioral health that detect problems sooner, increase access to services, reduce stigma, and advance research and education.

This compassionate family of heroes rises to the challenge by supporting everything Children’s Wisconsin does in hospitals, clinics and communities across Wisconsin, year after year.

Your support makes you a hero to kids like Isabella

Little Isabella was born weighing just 2 lbs., 3 oz. and spent the first 173 days of her life in the Children’s Wisconsin Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), requiring around-the-clock care from nurses and doctors. As a fragile micro-preemie, for several months she needed a ventilator to breathe.

Thankfully, as Isabella grew stronger, she came off her ventilator. Today, she is a happy, thriving 2-year-old who has also left her feeding tube behind!

Your generosity helps other babies like Isabella survive extremely premature birth and grow stronger so that they can go home to their families. 

Criteria

Membership in the Heroes Giving Society renews annually and is open to individuals, families, companies and foundations that give $1,000 or more cumulatively over a calendar year.

At the $1,000 level
