Logan's Laps for Love

Virtual Race Details

We are sad to inform everyone that due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will be cancelling the run/walk and activities to be held after. Postponing the event is not feasible as there is no guarantee when it will be safe to gather in groups of 100-300 people.

Instead, we will host a virtual race in which anyone can participate on May 23rd at 9am. We are asking everyone to put on a prior year's Logan shirt or just a blue shirt (Logan's favorite color), run/walk any distance you like, and just think of Logan smiling down on you.

Our family lives at 525 Abbott Ave. and if in Hartford feel free to walk/run past our home; we will be there to cheer you on (weather permitting). Please take photos and send to me. I will post on our web page.

All the registration fees will be donated to Children's Hospital Love For Logan fund. As a way to say thank you, we will be putting the names of all registrants into a "hat" and drawing winners to give away limited items that have been donated to us from businesses. We cannot guarantee that all businesses that donated will be open, but we pray for the best. Please know how much we appreciate your registration/donation and hope that you will continue to take part in Logan's Laps For Love next year!!!

This 5K run/walk, in memory of Logan Johnson, starts and ends at the Hartford Union High School followed by shorter races for children 10 and under.

At the field there will also be bounce houses, games, and other activities for kids of all ages. Lunch can also be purchased until noon.

Logan ran/walked many laps at St. Kilian school and what better way to remember Logan than to run/walk for him.

This is a great event to honor Logan and also raise money for the Love for Logan fund at Children's Wisconsin.

Logan Johnson's story

Days before he became sick, 8-year-old Logan asked his mom what his purpose was. Watch this incredibly emotional video to see his story.
